Ingredients
2 cups chopped tomatoes
1 tsp oil
1/4 cup chopped onions
2 tsp roughly chopped garlic (lehsun)
1 tsp chilli powder
a pinch of sugar
salt to taste
Direction
add the onions and garlic and sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute.
2. Add the tomatoes
mix well and cook on a medium flame for 4 to 5 minutes
while stirring occasionally. Keep aside to cool.
3. Once cooled
blend in a mixer till smooth.
4. Transfer the mixture into the same deep non-stick kadhai
add the chilli powder
sugar and salt
mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes
while stirring occasionally.
5. Store in an air-tight container and use as required.
