Ingredients
2 litres Full cream milk
2 tablespoons Yogurt
3/4 cup Castor sugar (caster sugar)
Khoya/mawa grated 1/2 cup
1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
2 teaspoons Dried rose petals
8-10 Pistachios blanched, peeled and slivered

2. Gather the edges and immediately refresh in chilled water to avoid carry over cooking
3. Transfer the mixture in a parat, add sugar and mix well. Add khoya, green cardamom powder and mix again.
4. Transfer this mixture in a non-stick pan and cook for 3-4 minutes.
5. Add dried rose petals, pistachios and mix well and continue to cook for 2-3 minutes.
6. Transfer the mixture on a plate and allow to cool.
7. Transfer the mixture into modak moulds and press lightly.
8. Demould and serve.
